Jumu'ah Prayer is held every Friday at 1:30pm!

O you who have believed, when [the adhan] is called for the preayer on the day of Jumu'ah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allah and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew.

Virtuous Acts of Jumu'ah

Make ghusl, wear clean clothes, wear musk
Read Suratul Kahf (Chapter 18) in nthe Holy Qur'an
Send abundant prayers upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ
Come to prayer before the iqamah is called to be counted among those who attended
Turn your cell phones off
No eating nor drinking while the Khateeb gives the sermon
No talking while the Khateeb gives the sermon; this also nullifies your Jumu'ah

The sermon is given by the Khateeb while you listen attentively
Two rak'at are performed immediately after the sermon is given

The Jumu'ah prayer consists of two parts

Muslim men are obligated to attend Jumu'ah, they are excused if they are sick or on a journey.
